Week 1 of New Com & Tech (Summary of this week)

I have five new things to say in this blog:

(1) New Communication Technology did a short history on the evolution of technology in the first lecture. But, they didn't include the musically changes in technology throughout the ages. How forgetful! Music plays one huge part of society's technology in recording studios, ipods, cds, instruments and music productions. How can you forget that?

(2) I learnt something new today. Setting up a blog. The joy!

(3) I found some awesome music blogs throughout the web, which is quite cool cause you can check out the latest music information and production. I also checked out myspace as most artists create their own blog on their myspace. So that was pretty cool so far =)

(4) In yesterday's lecture, I learnt several new meanings on the terms, 'Communication' and 'Technology.' Several other students had really good examples and definitions on both of the terms.

(5) I dislike blogs, even more than that I have one. But it helps me pass university, then so be it.

Week 1 of New Com & Tech (The Lecture)

Hi, I'm Sarah.

I'm 17 and a half. I have great friends and family. I'm learning guitar and piano. I feel at ease within the music element and I write lyrics WAY too much. It's like a constant flow in my brain. It gets annoying but I wouldn't change it.

Life is short so I'm inspiring myself to do something great in my life that I can actually look back and smile at the memories. But right now, I'm just taking the baby steps of my life by beginning at university and trying to channel as much of my musical thoughts and lyrics through each of my subjects/assignments.
